Service

A website that works as hard as you do

Our web design and development services build fast, modern sites that convert — on WordPress (Elementor, WPBakery) or whatever platform actually fits your business. Built to be found, built to book calls, and wired to your CRM, chatbot, and calendar from day one.

The problem

What is your current site actually costing you?

Most business sites were built once and never revisited. They load slowly on the phones most visitors use, they’re awkward enough to update that nobody updates them, and they were designed to look like a brochure rather than to book a call. The cost never appears as a line item — it appears as visitors who left and enquiries you never knew existed.

Slow on the devices that matter

Most of your traffic is mobile, and every additional second of load time costs a measurable share of visitors before the page has even rendered.

No obvious next step

A site that describes the business but never asks for the enquiry leaves the visitor to work out what to do next. Most won’t bother.

Too awkward to update

If changing a price means calling a developer, the site goes stale — and a stale site quietly signals a business that isn’t paying attention.

Outcomes

What changes when the site is built properly

A brochure that describes the business

A page that books calls

Slow, failing Core Web Vitals

Fast and passing, on mobile

Every edit needs a developer

Your team updates content without calling us

Site, CRM and booking as separate systems

Enquiries landing in your CRM automatically

Sub-services

What do our web design and development services include?

Four kinds of build, one standard: every site ships fast, mobile-first, SEO-ready, and connected to the systems that turn visitors into booked calls. Whether it’s a new WordPress build, a migration off a dying theme, or a landing page for next month’s campaign — same bar.

WordPress Design & Development

Custom builds and redesigns using Elementor and WPBakery — clean, fast, and easy for your team to update without calling us for every small change. Small business website design that looks premium without the premium agency invoice.

Outcome: a site that looks premium and that your team can actually edit.

Site Migration & Rebuilds

Website redesign services that don’t torch your SEO: we move you off the outdated theme or slow host while preserving rankings, content, URLs, and search history. Redirect mapping is the unglamorous work that saves your traffic — we do it properly.

Outcome: a new site without losing the rankings the old one earned.

Landing Pages & Funnel Builds

Dedicated, high-converting landing page design for ad campaigns, lead magnets, and audit funnels — matched to the traffic source, not cloned from a generic template. Built to load fast and tested against a conversion goal.

Outcome: pages matched to the campaign and measured against a conversion goal.

Any Platform

Beyond WordPress, we build on the platform that fits your goals and technical needs — scoped and briefed before any build begins. If your current builder can do the job, we’ll tell you to keep it.

Outcome: the right platform for the job — including keeping the one you have.

How it works

How a build runs, start to launch

Five steps, and you sign off the layout before anyone writes a line of code.

01

Discovery & content inventory

Goals, audience, every existing page catalogued, and an honest read on what content is missing.

  • Owner: Web Lead
  • You receive: Content inventory and build brief
  • Duration: Week 1
02

Sitemap & wireframes

Page structure and layout agreed before any visual design — the cheapest stage at which to change your mind.

  • Owner: Web Lead
  • You receive: Sitemap and wireframes for approval
  • Duration: Week 1–2
03

Visual design

Design applied to the approved wireframes. You sign off before development starts.

  • Owner: Designer
  • You receive: Design files for approval
  • Duration: Week 2–3
04

Build & integrations

Development on staging, wired to CRM, chatbot, booking and analytics.

  • Owner: Web Developer
  • You receive: A staging link you can click through
  • Duration: Week 3–5
05

QA, redirects, launch & handover

Cross-browser and device QA, redirect mapping, launch, then training and admin handover.

  • Owner: Web Developer and Web Lead
  • You receive: Live site, redirect map, admin access, training session
  • Duration: Week 5–6

The risk nobody mentions

Redesigning without losing your rankings

The reason most businesses delay a redesign for years is the fear that it will undo whatever search visibility they’ve built. That fear is justified — rankings do drop when migrations are done carelessly. Here’s the part we never skip.

  • Every existing URL mapped to its new home with a 301 redirect, before launch rather than after
  • Content, metadata and heading structure preserved unless we’re deliberately improving them
  • Indexing re-verified in Search Console after launch, not assumed
  • The old site stays available on staging until the new one is confirmed stable

Deliverables

What you get

The non-negotiables on every build:

  • Mobile-first, fast-loading pages — Core Web Vitals built in, not bolted on
  • SEO foundations from day one: clean URLs, schema markup, proper heading structure
  • Easy-to-edit sections so your team updates content without a developer
  • Integrated with your CRM, chatbot and booking system at launch — not “phase two”
  • Staging environment and QA before anything goes live
  • You own the site, the hosting account, and every asset — always

Is this a fit?

This is a fit if…

  • You know what the site needs to achieve — calls, enquiries, bookings
  • Your content is ready, or you’ll let us produce it
  • One person can approve design decisions
  • You want a site your team can maintain

We're not the right team if…

  • You want a redesign because the current one feels old, with no goal behind it
  • Content will be supplied “at some point” — the most common cause of delay
  • Approval needs a committee and there’s no deadline
  • You want a bespoke custom build with no CMS behind it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about web design

A professionally built small-business site typically runs from the low-to-mid four figures ($/£) for a focused brochure-and-booking build, into five figures for larger or custom work. The honest variables: page count, content readiness, and integrations. We quote a fixed scope after a short brief — no open-ended day rates.

Typically 3–6 weeks depending on scope, content readiness, and number of pages. The most common delay isn’t design or code — it’s waiting on content. We flag that early and can produce the content with you (it’s literally one of our services).

Not if the migration is done properly. We map every existing URL to its new home with 301 redirects, preserve your content and metadata, and re-verify indexing after launch. Rankings dip when redirects are skipped — that’s the step we never skip.

Not necessarily. We can often rebuild within your existing platform — and if it genuinely can’t support what you need, we’ll show you why before proposing a move. The platform serves the goal, not the other way round.

Yes — that’s a design requirement, not an afterthought. We build editable sections in Elementor or WPBakery, document how they work, and hand over admin access. You call us for improvements, not for typo fixes.

Next step

Is your website earning its keep?

If your site is slow, hard to update, or hasn’t produced a lead in weeks, start with the free funnel audit — we’ll show you where visitors drop off and whether you need a fix, a page, or a rebuild.
